Alzina Stoves Barabin, 77, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Houma, passed away peacefully at 9:02 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017.

​Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Dularge Community Baptist Church, 549 Andrew St. in Houma. Burial will follow in Deweyville Cemetery.

​She is survived by her husband, Charles Barabin, Sr.; sons, Charles Barabin, Jr. (Angela) and Ron Barabin, Sr. (Latrell) ; daughter,  Jean B. Harris (Joe): thirteen grandchildren;  five great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

​She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Helen Sims Stoves; brothers, Benjamin and Larry Stoves; sisters, Anna Thompson, Arinola Porter, Earline Patterson, Iona Barnes andJacquelyn Bass; maternal grandparents, Jimmie and Lillie Sims; and paternal grandparents,  Charlie and Suzanne Stoves.

Arrangements entrusted to Jones Funeral Home of Houma.
