Asanta Tysha Commodore, 50, a resident of Houma, LA and a resident of Terrebonne Parish passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Terrebonne General Medical Center. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 11:00 AM until funeral service at 1:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Inc. Chapel 230 S. Hollywood Rd. Houma, LA. Burial will follow in the New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her father; Elisha Commodore, Jr. and children; Jadon K. Johnson; Dakarai R. Johnson and Mariah J. Commodore. Brother; Jonathan L. Commodore and sister; Monique Commodore. Additional family members; Edgar L. Commodore, Sr., Gralyn F. Commodore; Roslyn R. Commodore; Melissa D. Commodore-Bolden; Theresa Trosclair-Worthy and Tesria Trosclair-Gray. 

She was preceded in death by her mother; Valerie Trosclair-Commodore and grandparents; Elisha Commodore, Sr., Dimple Maryland Commodore; Robert Trosclair, Sr., and Genevieve Spencer-Trosclair.
