Deo Ramkhalawan, 71, a native of Mendez Coora,Trinidad and Tobago and a resident of Amelia, LA passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at his residence.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 2, 2022 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel, 715 Sixth St., Morgan City, LA, from 12:00 noon until 1:00 PM.
Deo leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Ana Sanchez Ramkhalawan of Amelia, LA., a son, Hector I. Cruz of Amelia, LA., , two daughters, Cindy Ramkhalawan of Houston, TX., and Michelle Ramkhalawan Ocasio of Harvey, LA; a brother, Bhanwari Ramkhalawan of Charleston, South Carolina; five grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Deo was preceded in death by his father, Ramkhalawan, his mother, Budhani-Samaroo; four sisters and four brothers.
