Early Scoby Branch

Early Scoby Branch, 73, a native and  resident of Houma, LA passed away on October 23, 2023. 

Visitation and funeral services will be observed on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Residence Baptist Church 2605 Isaac St., Houma, LA 70360 from 8:00AM until funeral time at 10:00AM. Burial will follow at Emmanuel Baptist Church Cemetery. 

She is survived by her daughters, LaTissa Branch; TaMara Price (Ashton); Erica Price (Derrick) and Erial Branch. Brother, Timothy Scoby and sister, Bernadette Matthews and six grandchildren. Former husband, Edward Branch and brother-in-law, Darryl Matthews and a host of nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Scoby, Sr., and Delma Thomas Scoby. Brothers, Earl Scoby, Jr., Tedrick Scoby, Terry Scoby, Sr., and Allen James Scoby. Paternal grandparents, Thomas Scoby and Eliza "Lula" Tolbert Scoby and maternal grandparents, Anthony Thomas, Sr., and Vivian Soco Thomas. 

She was a faithful member of Residence Baptist Church and a graduate of Southdown High School class of 1968.
