Eddie Robert Ruffin, 77, a native of Kentwood, LA and a resident of Houma, LA passed away on October 16, 2023.
Visitation and funeral services will be observed on Friday, October 27, 2023 at Jones Funeral Home 230 S. Hollywood Rd., Houma, LA 70360 from 9:00AM until funeral time at 11:00AM.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne Jackson Ruffin and children, Perry Breaux; Terrence Jackson; Oray Jackson; Eddie Jackson; (step-son) Kenyiell Jackson; Carol Elder; Chimere Williams; Klenthy Friday and Valerie Ruffin. Brother, Frank Ruffin and sister, Eva Mae Stevenson; twenty-four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Louis Ruffin and Lizzie Mae Ruffin. Son, Dontrell Jackson; brother, Walter Hickerson and sister, Very Ruffin.
