Elaine Brown Carter, 79, a resident of Houma, LA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 26, 2022.

Memories of Elaine will remain in the heart of her children, Keith Carter (Alberta), Kerry Carter and Karen Ray (Clarence). Brothers, Willie Morgan, Sr., Freddie Morgan, Jr. Sisters, Joyce B. Lane, Maxine M. Dillard, Linda Batiste. Godson, Graham Douglas, twenty grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Elaine was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Batiste. Mother, Elizabeth B. Morgan and husband, Freddie Morgan, Sr. Son, Johnny Carter, Jr., and daughter, Kathy A. Carter. Sisters, Freddie Mae Mitchell, Jeanette M. Brown, Barbara Brown, Joan Broussard, Judy Batiste and Jerry Holmes.
