Obituary

Eugene "Juke" Johnson, Jr., 73, a resident of Patterson, LA and native of Berwick, LA, passed away peacefully on Saturday May 21, 2022 at 7:00 AM at Franklin Healthcare Center in Franklin. 

Visitation will be observed on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at New Salem Baptist Church in Patterson, LA. from 1:00 PM until funeral service at 2:00 PM. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing). Burial will follow funeral services in the New Salem Cemetery - Home Industrial side in Patterson, LA. Reverend Samuel Calhoun will serve as the Officiant.
 

Memories of Eugene Jr., will forever remain in the hearts of his wife, Lucille W. Johnson; children, Willie Williams, Donnie Willians, Ty Williams, Ricky Favors, Dewayne Blackburn, Dewayne Butler, Tammy Williams, Shannon Williams all of Patterson, LA and Kizzy (Eric) Singleton of Youngsville, LA; brothers, Edward (Janice) Johnson and John (Debra) Johnson, Sr. both of Berwick, LA; sisters, Ethel Johnson and Linda (Jonathan) Smith both of Berwick, LA, Rebecca (Rob) Johnson of Patterson, LA and Shirley Johnson Jones of Houston, TX; thirty-three grandchildren, fifty-three great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; six brothers-in-law, five sisters-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 
 

Eugene Jr., was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Johnson, Sr. and Isabella S. Johnson; sisters, Lottie Johnson and Audrey Johnson; a half brother, Alvin Ballet; a great-nephew, Braylen Foulcard; grandmothers, Beatrice Martin and Ethel Michel; an aunt, Audrey Cornelius.
