Obituary

Helen Marie Joseph, 61, a native of Lafourche Parish (Thibodaux, LA) and a resident of Houston, TX, passed away peacefully at 9:50 a.m. on Sunday, November 28, 2021.

A public viewing will be conducted from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Magnolia United Methodist Church, 128 Johnson Ridge Lane, Thibodaux, LA, 70301. Burial will follow in Blue Lily Cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Troy Joseph, Sr.; daughters Latasha J. Washington (Michael) and Erica Joseph; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother, William Hugh, Jr.; sisters, Sarah Brown, Beverly Verdine (Cleveland) and Carol Hugh; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William, Sr. and Thelma Joseph Hugh; brothers, James T. Brown; paternal grandparents, William Hugh and Fannie Manuel; maternal grandparents, Arthur and Sarah Joseph; nephews, Darrell Brown and Sidney Smith, III.
