Obituary

Hilda Mae Butler Porche, 80, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Chauvin, LA, passed away peacefully at 9:10 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2021.

A memorial service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home chapel, 230 S. Hollywood Road in Houma, LA. 

She is survived by her husband, Charles Porche, Sr.; sons, Charles, Jr. (Kathy), Norman, Sr. (Ida) and Gerard Porche, Sr. (Terri); daughters, Lori Wiltz (Elton), Carla Goffney (George) and Tara Harding (James, III.); nineteen grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by  her parents, Albert and Gladys Gray Butler; brothers, Albert, Leroy and George Butler; sister, Marion B. Williams; paternal grandparents, Albert and Frances Ross Butler; maternal grandmother, Rose Daigs Gray.
