Jessie Williams

Jessie Williams, 66, a native and resident of Franklin, LA passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at his residence. 

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home Chapel 1101 Main Street Franklin, LA. Burial will follow in the Franklin Mausoleum.

Jessie is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn E. Williams of Houston, TX, his nephew and caregiver, Mario T. Williams, Sr. of Franklin, LA, two step daughters, Lisa Edwards and Kim Edwards, both of Houston, TX, four brothers, Richard Williams of Milwaukee, WI, John Williams and Derrick (Dawn) Williams, both of Sioux City, IA, Steven (Willonia) Williams of Verdunville, LA, four sisters, Marion Ann Williams of Clarksville, TN, Anna Denise Sanders of Verdunville, LA, Jennifer Ina of Bunkie, LA, and Tessie (Jessie) St. Julien of Youngsville, LA, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, along with a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marion M. Williams, father, Jessie Williams, Sr., brother, Wilfred Willams, maternal grandparents, Willie McDaniel, Sr. and Anna Yeggins McDaniel and fraternal grandparents, George and Leola Kirt Williams.
