Lucille Willis-Williams, 87, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Houma, LA, passed away peacefully at 3:32 a.m. on Thursday, December 2, 2021.
A public viewing will be conducted from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Greater New Salem Baptist Church, 818 Lafayette Street, Houma, LA, 70360. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Roy Robinson (Iola) and Gerard K. Williams; daughters, Pamela Ross (James) and Cynthia Norman (Cornell); eighteen grandchildren; forty-four great grandchildren; twenty-two great-great grandchildren; sisters, Beatrice Scott, Ruth Peters, Hosea Mae Gray, Annie Jackson, Audrey Douglas, Violet Horton, Mini-mah' Shabazz, Marguerite Willis and Rosadell Willis; daughter-in-law, Debra Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Williams, Sr.; sons, Charles Williams, Jr.; daughter, Sonia Williams; parents, Jim and Odeal Smith Willis; brothers, William Wilis and Julius Adams.
