Obituary

Lucius Ray Thomas, 69, a native of Ville Platte, LA and a resident of Gray, LA passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022. 

A memorial service will be observed on Friday, June 3, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Jones Funeral Home 230 S. Hollywood Rd., Houma, LA 70360. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing.) 

Memories of Lucius will forever remain in the heart of his children, Chucky Antoine, Norman Griffin and Campanella Antoine. Brothers, John Arthur LaFleur, Tyrone Thomas, Curley Cullivan. Sisters, Estella Dell Hill Short, Ferdella Ann Rousell, Dianna Gail H. Simmons, Marilyn Vandora Byrd, Zina Velain Thomas and Ursala Cullivan. Thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edmond Hill and Dorothy Mae T.H. Culllivan and brother, Edmond Hill, Jr.
