Obituary

Malcolm "Head" Guy Taylor, 72, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Houma, LA passed away peacefully on June 16, 2022. 

Visitation and funeral services will be observed on Saturday, July 2, 2022, from 8:00 AM until funeral time at 10:00 AM at Jones Funeral Home 230 S. Hollywood Rd., Houma, LA 70360. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing.) 

Memories of Malcolm will forever remain in the heart of his wife, Janie Mae Willis Taylor. Daughters, D'Comanique "Bubbles" Reed of Dallas, TX, Valarie Saulsbury (Lloyd) of Gray, LA and Caulette Scott of Houma, LA. Brothers, Norman Taylor (Angela), Reginald Taylor (Sarah) of New Orleans, LA. Sisters, Atron Thomas of New Orleans, LA and Giselle Gray (Robert) of Raceland, LA, an aunt, Fredia (Murray) Lacey of New Orleans, LA, Sixteen grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren. 

Malcolm was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Alphonse Taylor, Sr., and Mary Margaret James Taylor. Daughter, Paula Ann Scott and brothers, Robert and Alfred Taylor. Sisters, Paula Taylor and Theonita Tillman.
