Melissa Ann "Missy" Sylvester Williams, 54, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Houma, LA, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.

No public services will be conducted.

She is survived by her children, Cedric, Darryl, Anthony, Lateika, Renata, Brenae, Anneysa, Jashone Sylvester, Tyrika Tardieff and Schwann Williams; twenty-six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; father, Earnest Sylvester; brother, Terrence Sylvester; sister, Ivory Sylvester; and host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Earline Poindexter Celestine (Curvin); grandchildren, Jeremiah and Jaidyen Sylvester; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Louise Johnson Poindexter.
