Mona Faye (Carlos) Collins

Mona Faye "Kee-lah" Carlos Collins, 60, a native of Dulac and a resident of Houma, LA passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 30, 2022. 

Visitation will be observed on Saturday, August 6, 2022, from 12:00 PM until funeral time at 2:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home 230 S. Hollywood Rd., Houma, LA 70360. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing.) Burial will follow at New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Mona is survived by her daughters, Denise Carlos and Jennifer (Ferdinand) Mathieu. Sons, Willie (Estrallo) Carlos, Earl and Troy Carlos. Brothers, Duffy (Cathy) Carlos, David and Earl Baker. Sisters, Gail (Kerry) Crochet, Earline Baker, Veronica Billiot and sisters-in-law, Clementine Stadium, Louise Stewart and brothers-in-law, Lawrence and Ernest Collins, fifteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. 

Mona was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Collins, Jr., and daughter, Wendy Carlos. Parents, Gladys Crochet and Justilien Carlos, sisters, Shelia Carlos and Darlene Billiot.
