Rose Hampton

Rose Hampton, 81, a native and resident of Houma, LA  passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. 

Visitation and funeral services will be observed on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Eagle Wright Baptist Church 3113 West Park Ave. Gray, LA 70359 from 9:00AM until funeral time at 11:00AM. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. 

She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Ellis (James); Musette Harding (Harrison) and Lahama Hampton. Brother, Wallace Theriot of Houma, LA and sisters, Ernestine Theriot of Houston, TX and Charlotte Barabin of Houma, LA, twelve grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Lee Hampton and her parents, John Wallace Theriot and Beatrice Miller Theriot. Brothers, Allen J. Theriot, David Jones and sisters, Riffie Castle; Elenora Bland and Winnie T. Holly. Granddaughter, Erica Celestin and great-grandson, Taylor Folse.
