Obituary

Sullivan Ingram, Jr., 88, a native of Lafourche Parish and a resident of Gray, LA, passed away peacefully at 4:41 a.m. on Friday, January 31, 2020.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11;00 a.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at New Magnolia Baptist Church, 427 Hwy 311 in Schriever, LA. Burial will follow in Halfway Cemetery.

He is survived by his sons, Gregory, Tyrone  and Wayne Sullivan Ingram, Sr.; daughters, Pamela Van Dyke and Erica Tillman (Carl); nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother, Sylvester Ingram, Sr.; sister, Gertrude I. Jackson; godchildren, Brenda Nixon Livas and Lamont Bennett.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Mae Nixon Ingram; grandchildren, Joaquina and Terrell Every; parents, Sullivan, Sr. and Urcel Reed Ingram; brother, Benjamin Ingram, Sr.; sisters, Laura Brown, Sara Jones, Urcel Bennett and Genevieve Ingram; paternal grandparents, Benjamin and Sarah Ingram; maternal grandparents, Sylvester and Laura Reed; and godchild, Doris Brown Johnson.
