Tia Meshawn Gorrell

Tia Meshawn Gorrell, 23, a native of Houma, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on August 1, 2023. 

Visitation will be observed on Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 9:00 AM until funeral time at 10:00 AM at St. Luke Baptist Church 3755 Bayou Black Drive Houma, LA 70360. Burial will follow at the Crozier Cemetery. 

She is survived by her mother, Tequilla Gorrell of Houma, LA , significant other, Tarik Bias. Additional family members, Quincy (Krystal) Queen, Feronti Jones and Anthony Livas; siblings, Tristen Gorrell and Rolshanda Henderson. Paternal grandmother, Brenda Livas, aunt, Rosalyn (Perry) Davis; uncle, Darryl Keith Prevost and a host of relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Malayjah' Mae Bias; maternal grandparents, Annette and Robert Gorrell. Paternal grandfather; Henry Livas, Sr.
